Ronda Today Gets New Direction

We’re very pleased to announce that Ronda Today, our flagship website has changed direction and is now the Serranía de Ronda’s largest English language portal for news, tourism, and cultural activities occurring in Ronda. The site offers articles, guides, photos of Ronda, and a growing selection of videos of cultural activities and tourism guides.

Currently Ronda Today is the largest of all the English language websites in the Serranía catering to tourism and expatriate residents, we still have a lot to do to make the site a complete resource, and the last 12 months has convinced us we’re on the right track.

Recently the team at Ronda Today started adding videos of local events to selected pages, and we changed the site design to more adequately suit future needs of site visitors, with major categories getting their own homepage layout. This included adding a large feature box with images or videos at the top of the page.

Over the coming months Ronda Today will continue to grow, we have many more pages yet to be added, as well as a lot of ideas for videos and documentaries covering history and culture in the Serranía.

The most exciting development though will be our imminent radio broadcasts which we hope to start in October 2009, and the launch of the bilingual lifestyle magazine ¡Ronda Viva! to complement Ronda Today. We’ll keep you posted on developments.
